TestimonialsThe following is an extract from email traffic from some of our customers. The first paragraph is from a believer before he bought his bike. Hey Eric....Verrry Cool!!!! I'm hooked! I'm 55 and have a history of 4 lumbar surgeries. I ride a 'bent in the gym most of the time....ugh! When I go out on my old Klein, unsuspended, it kills my back, butt and hands. You've developed a truly beautiful bike. Lemme know as soon as you're taking orders. I live in VT, we got lotsa hills and 'tho I live in the capital, I can be on dirt, class IV roads or trials within a mile outta town. Looking forward to hearing from you...John In the weeks after he bought his Bender, he sent the following: Hey Eric...Went for my first ride yesterday...what a BLAST! This bike makes
people on the street smile!! They all want to know more about it. Man, whata ride! I've been riding everyday and my back hasn't felt this good in many, many months. I think its because of the pressing back against the seat with pedal strokes… Maybe I should turn it into a medical deduction...might just save me from a far more expensive surgical procedure. Hi Eric...Things have been going very well! What I have found is that my back has been feeling better and better and that I've been dropping some pounds even as early as this! I really believe that Bender will help me to avoid back surgery #5 and for that I thank you so very much. I hope to ride the toll road to the top of Mt. Mansfield, the tallest peak in VT, before the end of the season and, if successful, will send you a picture of me and #0002 at the top!!! Take care and I hope that you've had more customers for this wonderful bike. As someone who went from a(n) upright bike to Bender, with no on-road recumbent experience, I found the transition to be remarkably easy. Bender's finish is superb, tho' I must admit that I've always been partial to carbon fiber. I've gone on some long and twisty road downhills and have found that the stability is excellent and steering is rock-solid. This puppy is a rocketsled on the downhills!! I love the White Brothers fork and the Fox rear shock. The ride is comfortable, but not squishy. The arm position is very good with no fatigue and no carpal tunnel stuff, which was a problem for me on my road and Mt. bikes. The seat is also very comfortable, up to my longest ride of 30 miles to date. Much better than a wedgie! One of the bike people at (the bike shop) thought that the seat looked flimsy (?) and uncomfortable compared to the rest of the bike and then I left him sit on it and he changed his opinion. Gotta run...more later...John From another customer in Utah: It's like Christmas when I was a kid. Some haiku from a customer in Idaho: a lumbar heaven, a Bender 'bent Boise-built, for riding pleasure and: Bender recumbent, carbon fiber ATB, for town or greenbelt From another customer in Idaho:
Just wanted to let you know how my first week went. Even though this was my
first recumbent experience, it took no time at all to feel right at home on
it. I have 85 miles on it, and have never felt so good after a ride - my
palms, butt, and neck don't hurt at all. The custom fit, responsiveness,
comfort, and design (both functionally and cosmetically), are wonderful!
Looking forward to tomorrow's ride!
Wouldn't you like to be this enthusiastic about the bike you ride? Let yourself go on a Bender, and I'll be happy to post your comments to this page! |
